Designer Custo Balmau has literally outdone himself with this year’s theme, “The Way More,” in which, more elaborate, 100% hand-sewn pieces, more intense silhouettes, and more wealth of materials. With this collection, sought a return to the richness of using multiple fabrics in every piece, while combining them in harmonious ways to create exceptional garments.
Custo’s NYFW SS’17 collection displayed the color palette including: mixtures of rose petal and aged gold, optic white and terracotta hues, bubblegum pink, and mauve. As for the male models- the designer featured shirts with bright embroidery; skinny-cut trousers with detailing lining the sides, fully embroidered or semi-transparent shirts, sequined or devourè velvet T-shirts and transparent trench coats.
The collection also displayed trends to watch out for such as: bomber jackets, trench coats, and suit jackets.
I don’t know about you, but we were so inspired to call our sugar daddy or momma and entice them to plan a trip to the Hamptons for a getaway!
