To the show that never fails us, Custo Barcelona, we owe you one!
Every season Modern Stitches has the privilege to be invited to the Custo Barcelona runway show and today we realized perfection does exist. The designer has a knack and an eye for detail and each model dawned in metallic and strategically placed sequin strutted down the runway with visions of liquid gold.
As if the metallic wasn’t mesmerizing enough, he added a little fur. (Which was necessary since it’s 20 degrees in NYC today) Fur lined hoods were just the detail that made each piece transitional. This has been done for decades in fashion and we we were delighted to see new renditions of this on the runway.
