From designers implementing the latest street-worthy trends to event-goers expressing their personality through style along the city sidewalks, Pitti Uomo has cemented itself as the spotlight for current and upcoming street styles the world can’t wait to replicate.

Pitti Uomo 108 recently wrapped up, and to say it was anything short of a menswear masterpiece would be an understatement. The theme “Pitti Bikes” was ideal for the fashion that followed, with a balance of traditional tailoring, contemporary silhouettes, outdoor enrichment, and gender-fluid pieces.
This year’s June Pitti Uomo featured an impressive 740 brands, with 45% coming from international brands. This only proves that the event is not just surviving – it’s thriving – and it’s drawing crowds from abroad with ease while allowing designers, even lesser-known ones, to get the attention they well deserve. Of course, there were plenty of well-known designers sought out by event-goers, including Homme Plissé by Issey Miyake and Post Archive Faction (PAF).
While every corner of Pitti Uomo 108 was doused in classy and one-of-a-kind ensembles, a few specific styles became top hits at the “party.” Event-goers noticed an influx of suits featuring relaxed tailoring complete with tank tops and sneakers underneath. There were also plenty of styles that showcased man bags and neckerchiefs, an accessory that wowed the crowd in the best way possible. Finally, we noticed sustainable materials, muted pastel shades, and plenty of graphic patterns that expertly balanced wild patterns with graceful colors.
