Mr. Shoji has definitely outdone himself with his NYFW Spring/Summer’17 collection of animal prints in electric hues. Tonight’s theme of Noah’s Ark displayed wild animals surrounding him as models strutted the runway. Viewers enjoyed sinuous snakes to fearsome tigers. Shoji’s show was located at The Arc at Moynihan Station, located in the heart of NYC. The venue was also accompanied by E! News as stars from the hit series, “Rich Kids of Beverly Hills” while spotted in the first row. The designer featured various animals hanging from a vine, filled with colorful flowers going up the projector screens for a more scenic jungle feel. Shoji’s SS17 collection is an effervescent vision of rebirth. Notable trends were spotted down the runway were: sequins, tulle, pleats, traditional floral embroidery, a-line silhouettes, and traditional embroidery of the Japanese bird.

Tadashi’s show may be seen on his official website and NYFW Live in case you’ve missed it!
