“Elevating your game” doesn’t stop at sports this season – it extends to your wardrobe, too. As we saw on the post-Olympic runways, athleticism is taking center stage on and off the court. And to make sure you’re “runway ready, game day strong,” we’ve compiled a list of the top sports-themed trends on the latest runways.

Pharrell Williams Louis Vuitton Ski Collection

Grab your skis, your ski poles, and your goggles – it’s time to shred in style.

Pharrell Williams’ Louis Vuitton Men’s Winter 2025 Ski Collection is nothing short of iconic. The collection features innovation, elegance, and comfort that allow you to easily transition from the slope to all of your après-ski adventures.

With this flawless line-up, finding your peak performance in terms of ability and style is a cinch. The undeniable standout is the Damoflage Snow fit. An adaptation of the signature Damoflage pattern, the look blends the famous Louis Vuitton Damier checkers with a cool, avant-garde camo print for something winter-friendly and undeniably hip.

While consumers will appreciate the obvious nod to street-savvy aesthetics, Pharrell Williams didn’t stop there. He looked beyond the visuals to ensure sustainability and performance, too. Garments are built tough and entirely waterproof and windproof. They’re also constructed with convenient details like goggle pockets and ski pass holders, ensuring your trip is not only fashionable but functional, too.

Those interested in purchasing garments that go above and beyond to reduce environmental impact will appreciate the fact that ski suits and shell suits are made entirely of recycled polyamide and polyester. At the same time, jackets are lined with 100% certified organic cotton.

Lacoste Luxury Tennis Collection

Dressed to win, styled to serve – and we’re not just talking about on the tennis court.

Lacoste dipped its toes into the “tennis core” realm this year, showing us precisely what it means to blend athletic apparel with high fashion. Pelagia Kolotouros, Creative Director of Lacoste, displays her groundbreaking and radiant collection, which is focused on the sophistication of tennis.

To ensure you’re always in fashion on and off the tennis court, the Lacoste tennis core collection features a blend of feminine and masculine options designed to elevate traditional styles, from tennis dresses and skorts to polo shirts, tennis shoes, and accessories.

We couldn’t help but love this modern spin on the classics, whether it was the eye-catching cut-outs, intricate pleated detailing, or compelling textures. We also enjoyed the brilliant assortment of colors, including bright, look-at-me yellows and regal, majestic greens.

Baumeister Out-of-the-Box Sports Apparel

When it comes to looks that are entirely unique, trendsetting, and easily identifiable, there is no one quite like Melitta Baumeister. It’s always exciting to see what new fashion pieces she’ll send on the runway – and we can confidently say we were more than thrilled when we saw her plunge into the sport + fashion trend.

With her flare for the dramatic and keenness for oversized and boxy looks, we knew her collection was destined to be a home run.

She immediately grabbed our attention with her funky take on classic jerseys, which were larger-than-life and draped in a high-fashion faux leather material. We kept watching and were captivated by the roster of uniquely sculpted dresses, too, each one entirely different from the other.

If Baumesiter wanted to show us how unconventional yet fashionable she could be, she certainly accomplished the job.

Top Two Collaborations to Check Out:

If you love a good collaboration, you’ll be excited to know that there were plenty of top-notch collaborations on the latest runways. While we could go on and on about these “touchdown” collabs, there were two we thought hit a hole in one:

  • Chopova Lowena x Asics: There’s no shortage of exotic, engaging, and expressive trainers on the market, but there are few like the ones seen in the Chopova Lowena x Asics collab. Chopova Lowena reimagined Asics trainers with all types of bells and whistles to create showstoppers we won’t soon forget—whether they were lined with rhinestones, butterflies, or other out-of-this-world embellishments.
  • Avavav x Adidas: Tracksuit lovers, rejoice – a new type of tracksuit is on the market, and we think you’ll like it. The collab between Avavav and Adidas is nothing short of spontaneous and enjoyable. The line-up consists of some very untraditional yet contemporary pieces, including cropped jackets and the iconic “finger shoes” featuring a sporty makeover.

Where Athleticism Meets Aesthetic

It’s clear: fashion and athleticism have officially melded, and we couldn’t be more thrilled. It’s the era we’ve all been waiting for, and we can confidently say that these designers made a “slam dunk” with their impressive sports-themed collections. Which one is your favorite?
