Usually we snag a couple of giggles from the hilarious actress Tracee Ellis Ross during her attempts to decode rap lyrics as TMURDA (her hip hop stage name). This time shes decided to take another route and decided to recreate the 1981 video “Work That Body,” by her legendary mother, Diana Ross. This was an ode to her and felt that this was the definitely the moment that impacted her the most.
“Of course it’s fun to watch because its my mom looking stupid gorgeous (she was 36 and already had 3 kids -Rhonda, Chudney and I- by the time she shot this!! I mean, WHAT?!??!?!) and it’s a celebration of music and style and the 80’s. But, there is something more,” Tracee explained.
In the video, the former Girlfriends actress was donned in various neon body suits alongside her mother to display joy and comfort in displaying the beauty of their bodies. Not to mention her signature flawless bush to seal the deal.
