Little Miss Zhuri James, daughter of iconic NBA basketball player LeBron James, was the host for Harlem Fashion Row’s Janie and Jack show that was held on October 10th. Designers Kristian Loren, Kimberly Goldson and Richfresh added their own unique twist on Janie and Jack’s signature modern twist on classics. Janie and Jack is a retail brand that specializes in children’s clothing. The show was all about the kids, and Zhuri did an amazing job interviewing the designer’s before they showcased their collections.
After the show was over, Janie and Jack x HFR held a launch party for the children that participated in the show. Dj Livia provided music for the party in celebration for the official launch of the collaboration.
We love to see black designers being connected with major retail brands. Inclusivity in the fashion industry is important, and it’s time that more brands gave us a chance to be in the room.
