Is Kenzo channeling 70s, 80s and 90s vibes in their latest collab with H&M?
Creative Designers Carol Lim and Humberto Leon knew exactly what they were doing for us when they created the Kenzo x H&M collaboration. Quirky, whimsical, different and fun.
The collections features boho maxi skirts and bell sleeved top which mimics the 70s, bold zebra prints in almost every color which mimics the bold colors of the 80s, and the ever so popular Letterman style and Motorcycle jackets of the 90s, lined with shearling for a modern twist.

Celebrities such as Iman, Chance the Rapper, and Rosario Dawson have graced these eccentric fashions, and are featured on Kenzo official website. In interviews, each celebrity talks a little about themselves — what makes them unique and quirky, just like the collection here.
To kick off the celebration, Kenzo x H&M hosted a party on October 19th, 2016 in NYC. Ice Cube attended and performed, and Lupita Nyong’o and Chloe Sevigny arrived wearing pieces from the collection. We’re still gawking over the collection and attendee list, and trying to keep up with everyones Instagram of the fabulous pictures from the night.
The collab features both mens and women’s wear. The online shop opens at 8 am EST, November 3, 2016 on hm.com. Be sure to tag @modernstitches to give us the deets on your favorite finds!
